Hi, we’re Tom and Amy.
Life moves fast in the Carolinas. Between chasing a toddler, managing careers, and trying to keep two cats from scratching the furniture, we know exactly how easy it is for the house to get messy—and how stressful it feels when it does.
We started Sweetfern Cleaning because we couldn’t find the cleaning service we wanted for our Charlotte friends and family. The big franchises felt cold and complicated. The “gig apps” felt risky and unpredictable.
We wanted something different: a housecleaning experience that combines the reliability of a professional company with the warmth of a good neighbor and the ease of an online service. So, we built it.
Tom is a lifelong North Carolinian. His family has called this state home for nine generations, instilling a deep appreciation for the land and the people here. Amy grew up right here in the Charlotte area—her parents still live in Indian Trail—and she has watched the Queen City grow from a quiet banking town to the bustling hub it is today.
